August 20th was an important day in cool band history. Boston, MA housed MALPORTADO KIDS, TOMBOY, HOT TEARS (Olympia), MY PARADE (Seattle), and LEGGY (Ohio). This was a really special show and others who I talked to agreed that it was a rare one. It’s super inspiring to see such good bands with very different sounds discussing such a wide variety of issues and reminding everyone that all inclusive spaces can and will persist.

I wash’t able to bring a proper camera so I used my phone, a favorite medium, and took some pics at the show.
